Ingrown toe nails causing pain

Ingrown toe nails are a common problem. They occur because of incorrect technique of cutting toe nails, wearing ill-fitting footwear, etc. the inward growth of the nails into the skin of the toes (like a pincer) causes pain, swelling & sometimes infections.
